I’m having fun at the New Media Expo in Las Vegas!
Hello! My name is  Angela Tague.

I create SEO web marketing content such as blog posts, social media updates, white papers, online articles, e-books, original photography and static web page text for major brands including Purina, United Way, Colorado Christian University and EcoTools.

I also provide feature content to newspapers and print magazines.

I was named Writer of the Year 2012 by Skyword, a global content marketing agency. Peek at a quick video HERE.

I’ve worked in news writing and photography since 1998. After I attained a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Iowa, my journalism career led to positions at The Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa; The Sioux City Journal in Sioux City, Iowa and several weeklies in the Midwest.

I left my last newspaper job to freelance for brands and media outlets full time in 2009.

You can learn more about my work by listening to The Brand Journalism Advantage podcast, TBJA 011 Angela Tague: How To Get The Best Freelance Writing Assignments and Newsmodo’s Brand Storytelling podcast, Why Brands are Hiring Journalists.

I also blog about writing.  The Web Writing Advice blog is your resource for tips and tricks to make writing online enjoyable, profitable and successful!

You can find me sharing random musings and health tips for both mind and body on my personal blog, Cupcakes and Yoga Pants!

In addition to writing, I enjoy baking gluten-free treats, spending time on my yoga mat, designing photographic greeting cards and exploring nature trails with my hubby and two dogs in Iowa.
