It happened three times in one week. Businesses with Facebook Pages gave me the cold shoulder. One took eight days to reply to a private message and the others, well, I haven’t heard back yet.
It’s like their virtual business doors were locked, and I’m peeking in the window to see if anyone is in there — on a weekday.
I’m sharing this experience to give you pause.
Do you have a business page on Facebook? Do you allow readers to message you? Do you check-in and respond daily? If not, consider how your customers might be feeling right now.
As a business owner myself, I feel grateful for every message received and even more gratitude for those who choose to do business with me. Every interaction is meaningful and holds value.
I learn about my audience, their needs and concerns. I use that information to finesse and improve my products over time.
Every single conversation matters. Are you listening to your customers?
